Even with some of our players away at the Murray Maul there was a good rollup on Sunday. Laurie was the only player to win three games, and quite a few won two, including a very thrilled Memphis.

Some members will be off to Ballarat on 14 September for the wind-up of the Golden Boule and on September 22 we’ll be on the road again - to Avoca for the Rusty Poppet-head competition against the Pyrenees club. We’re aiming to bring it home again.

Just a reminder that there is an informal practice session each Thursday at 4:30; a chance to hone the skills and try out exotic techniques.
